Remote printer issues

I am attempting to add a remote printer -- does not print Job hangs in queue. Can anyone tell me, by looking below. why the dev bell is down, yet bell Printer status is in "Ready"-- what do I need to do to bring the device bell up?

But there's possibly something more fundamental wrong. Can you ping the printer IP?
