Remote power on - 43P

does anyone know if 43P's (model 140 and model 150 only) have the ability for remote power on, i will have some 3rd party kit in place for this which can interact with service processor but does the 43P (models 140 and 150 only) have a service processor ?

I have a 43P-150 and it doesn't have a service processor - at least it doesn't show one in "lscfg -vp".

i am looking at another server that i know does have a service processor but i can't see anything on lscfg -vp, can you tell me what i should be looking for from this command.

The command line

lscfg -vp|egrep -ip "ibm,sp|service processor"

should get you along.

or lscfg -vp|more, then search for "IBM,sp"
