Hi,

I have had a remote pim now running for quite a while. However, there is one problem I am trying to solve which is if for any reason the VPN goes down, even if just for a few minutes, the remote PIM goes into survival mode (obviously) and stays in it. However, from what I understood, there is a command that can be set where it will automatically reconnect once the VPN is back up? I don't mind if it has to restart itself to reconnect and drop the calls in the meantime. I just can't keep going out to the other site every time there is a problem with the VPN.

Many Thanks,
Simon

0B102>83>0 = automatic return to normal
0B102>81>01-99 (0-2970 sec in 30 sec increments) = automatic return timer.
Both commands require a system reset after setting them.

Hi belevedere,

Thank you very much for your fast reply. I managed to find the settings with your help but I used the following commands possibly because it is a later software release:

0B31>53>0 = automatic return to normal
0B31>51>01 = automatic return timer.

Will reset the system tonight and hopefully it is all fine.

Thanks very much,
Simon
