Here's my question:

We have 3 buildings very close together.
1. We need 1000 dterms
2. Not able to run a 2000 pair
3. We have fiber between the buildings
4. Building 1 and 2 have own 2400 with there own ACD connected with CCIS
5. Looking at DRU's
6. Dont really like having 3 ACD's, ASPA , and call accounting is not the best
7. all calls go in/out of Building 1(voice mail in B1)

Is there a remote PIM that can just be connected by fiber?

Any help would be great!!! Thnaks

How many sets will you use in new building?...Each DRU only holds only 23 phones..on a channelized T-1 circut..

300 to start and then upto 1100 with analog..Sounds like the DRU would use up alot of space

Seems like you'd be best off using CCIS to a new 2400 in the new building.

Another 2400 with CCIS is your only hope. I believe you max out on DRU's in your 2400 before you would even get close to 1000 stations. You can have a max of 12 DLI Cards per pim, I hope you have a lot of room in your 2400. By my estimate you would need 6 pims to accomodate your needs with DRU.
