Remote paging not working...

Have an MICS 4.1 with auto answer turned on with and w/o (answer with DISA) do not get stutter dialtone. tried auto dn still no dialtone. Can send a flash and get outside dialtone, I built access pkg 01, I applied pkg to my line, i made remote paging yes in that access pkg., and if i get access what code do you press to activate feature 62(overhead page)- any help would be appreciated.

What are you trying to do, are you just trying to set up remote notifcation through a mailbox or do you want the system to do an external transfer?

I'm trying to access the norstar paging system remotely.

It sounds like everything is programmed OK - try programming the line to auto answer without DISA - see what happens - should get straight system dial tone. Enter "LINK" or "FLASH" *62 (same as you would do from an analog phone connected to the system) to page external speakers.

Yes I tried auto answer with & without DISA. I do not get system dial tone, with or w/o disa. Plus, I know the access is *62, * replaces ftr.

Stupid question, but what type lines are installed on the switch? Straight up analog?

What happens when you call? Constant ringing? Do you get silence? Have you set a COS password and when it answers with silence, just enter it, see what happens?

Loop start analog, 2 rings then silence, Did not enter Cos password, But did enter flash and got outside dialtone.
