I've got a Director who wants to access her Exchange mailbox from the road using a handheld. I could have her dial into an ISP or RAS here. Is there such a solution already created?

Thanks

here is one solution if use a Palm Pilot VII(x)

You have to create a dummy recipient in Exchange and forward her e-mail to it.
The recipient would be her Palm Pilot VII (palm net account)
Then you don’t need RAS or anything.
But you have a monthly fee for the Palm Net starting at $9.95

There is a Question and Answer in this months Outlook/Exchange Magazine by the “Visual Basic Pro” publisher. That tells how to make a Forward in Exchange
I have it at work (have to get it Monday)

The RIM BlackBerry 950/957 devices offer real-time, wireless access directly to your Exchange server for calendar and e-mail information, and includes the standard Palm PIM information (contacts, tasks, memos, etc.) The benefits of this solution would be the ability to send, receive, and respond to calendar appointments while away from the office, and full synchronization so when you read e-mail away from the office, it's marked as read when you get back in. E-mails coming out of this account would use your corporate e-mail address rather than a "palm.net" address, so when people respond it goes directly to your Exchange inbox (importnat if you backup or need to keep all of your corporate e-mail). Devices are $400-$500, monthly service is $25-35. Not as much web-based functionality as a Palm VII, but I can't put mine down :) Hope this helps!
