Remote Office 9150 and FAX problems ... 1

Hi!

Have anyone experienced problems using the 9150 with FAX machines? We experience problems sending and receiving faxes on remote sites. We get errors from the faxmachines reporting poor line quality and problems with handshaking ... Any suggestions?

If I remember right you have to specify compression on each extension. The fax arent alowed to have any compression and have to be able to use 64kb.

Hello there

When you have problems whit fax
you have to set the port on the rlc card
on compression 729+fax.
when it not works set the faxport on the rlc-card
on 711 compression.
I had the same problem and when i set the port
on 729 +fax compression the problem was gone.
