Remote Monitoring software

Hi All

Does anyone have any experience of remote monitoring software, we would like to install this on our branch office servers so that it would email outages etc and have a handy one place location to check for any potential errors.

We are currently trialing Kaseya IT centre, but it is not the easiest of dashboards to nevigate around.

Any recomendations wouuld be gratefully recieved.

Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is considered the defacto monitoring tool in Microsoft heavy environments.

SCOM is massively expensive, Nagios has a free version and a paid for version so you should check out the differences.

There is a scaled down Express version of SCOM for smaller environments.
