I'm trying to use my Win XP pro workstation to monitor various servers and workstations on our network (P2P, not domain) through the MMC. I can see the shared folders and sessions for every computer, but I can't use the device manager remotely on the Win XP machines. I can access this on our Win2k server machines (read only mode) without any complications.
Is there a security policy or something that I can change to be able to do this?
Also, I can't view user accounts or add users to shared folders on a remote machine. Is this by design, or a setting issue?
