I am a network admin for a non profit organization that gets "free" email accounts from a local isp. Hence no local email server. I am looking for an appliance that can filter the spam from these "free" email accounts (pop). I know this is a pathetic situation.....much too complicated to explain the "politics" behind it here. Currently we have a watchguard firewall, but I am looking for something like the barracuda...if it would work in my current setup at this particular client. Thanks in advance

You can create your own Spam filter with any old pc. Just install redhat linux on the machine using a free distribution from rehat.com. Than follow the instructions posted on -This is an open source project that is catching on slowly.
