If I want to test remote loopback csu/dsu test on int s0,
where and what commands I have to issue?

Exmp: int s0
no ip address
int s0/0.51
framerelay dlci 51
ip address 10.1.1.27
int s0/0.57
framerelay dlci 57
ip address 10.2.2.2

Thanks.

If your asking how to do a loop-back from serial 0 given its a T1 wic card it goes like this.

router>en
router#conf t

router(config) int ser0
loopback line

do a show int ser 0
and look at the top section for the loop

no loopback line
removes the loop.

what is loopback line means ? line???
if I ping the ip address of this S 0 interface....ICMP will echo to remote CSU/DSU and come back to S 0 interface?

Thanks.

seems like you want to loop the far end csu/dsu. Can you clarify that what side would you like in loop if your side is A and the far side is Z do you want an "A" or "Z" loopback? I'm not sure a wic-t-1 can issue remote loop codes maybe someone else could jump in here.

I would like to loop my side loop to remote CSU/DSU.
My site is A, remote site is Z.

What command needed and "how to" test it?

Thanks a lot.
