We have an old G3v6i that we have been trying to remotely access in the event of a weather problem. We have set up our vectors to point to a VM box if a specific skill is logged into..we can change the VM off site, but couldn't login an agent remotly (our FAC's do not allow remote agent login)...so we made the vector seen below to facilitate this...By dialing an outside line that goes to this vector it seems to work...6916 is the remote access port on the switch...The switch seems to think we are dialing it from inside the building...after you punch in the barrier code, you just have to punch in the FAC to login an agent....This seems to work when tested...let me know what you all think.

Never mind....It didn't work in the real world...

The best thing to do is record an announcement stating you are closed due to extreme weather conditions etc. In order for the system to see you coming from the outside you would need to change the route to 6916 as if you are dialing out. Example 93037146916#. fyi- We have a g3v6 , we disabled the remote access as a added precaution to prevent toll fraud.
