Ok, I have a VERY cheap setup for my remote locations. I have a dedicated SDSL at my main facility with a Linksys BEFVP41 VPN router. This is in turn connected to our Cisco 3661 router on the 2nd ethernet port.

The remote locations have SDSL speeds comensurate with their bandwidth usage. These locations are tied into the network with another BEFVP41 at each. Calls are crystal clear and I have virutally no problems, save one. The remote locations cannot call each other with internal extensions. They have to dial out of the network (ex. 9555-1212, instead of just dialing 1212) to talk to each other, but can call internal extensions to anywhere on the primary network. They can dial, the call will ring and connect, but nothing can be heard. I know I am overlooking something simple and stupid, any ideas?

your phones do not have a valid route to each other....

They have a valid route to Call manager hence why your phones set up.

Are you using NAT at the remote offices or are you doing a ipsec tunnel?

If you do a hub and spoke tunned for your VPN traffic it will solve this problem.

You have to have each location on an internal routable IP address. If you are using 192.168.X.X IP Ranges at the remote sites, then they have to be routable internally at the call manager for the voice traffic to make it across the wan. If you cant ping the phone from the call manager, then voice traffic cant get to it.

ccmuser, thanks, I was thinking of setting up static routes for each location on their routers, thanks for the confirmation.

Conleyjo, thank you for the reply, but that isn't the problem. I don't have a problem with voice traffic getting to the phones, only voice traffic from remote to remote.

I'm involved with something similar now. Different equipment though. We are using a fully meshed VPN. You need to set up tunnels from one remote site to the other in additino to the tunnels created for the CM network. Be careful this will degrade Voice quality.
