Have our main corprate building setup with 10.10.1.1 and we are addinga Sans failover in another location(another state actually). We have 2 cisco routers, one in both location. 10meg pipe connecting the two locations. How is the best way to get the two to communicate?

vpn tunnel? over the mpls? point to point? what are the network and security requirements?

We are running a sans solution and it will be syncronizing. Basically we set up our servers here at corp, then we made sure they were all synced up, and sent them to the offsite location. Should corp go down we need to have the backup online to run as if it were in the building. Oh and the routers were using are 2811's.

Depending on the IOS image, a VPN tunnel, site to site VPN, would likely be best, as nobody would benefit from man-in-the-middle attempts, etc. What is the 10MB pipe, meaning what layer 2 technology is it? MPLS? Metro-E?
