I need some information about how to use MSED HL950 equipment in BC12: what capacity do I need?? How many channels?? Bandwith over IP network?? Some example, scenario... about an already working system??
Implementation of CESoPSN into the MSED HL950 augments the product’s multiservice capabilities, allowing it to carry service over any IP transport. The interoperability tests simulated an IP Metro network with multiple HL950s situated at various customer premises. Each HL950 furnished a legacy T1/E1 at the customer side and an Ethernet port on the network side. The HL950s performed service adaptation to emulate leased lines over an IP broadband access network. In the tests, the AXN Multiservice IP Concentrator served as a central office gateway to the public-switched telephone network (PSTN), including Ericsson local-exchange voice switches.
What's your scheme - BC12 on the other side - HL950 - than what? Bandwidth - it's depends on the compression mechanism. And, from above: "Each HL950 furnished a legacy T1/E1 - 2, 048 Mbit/c - at the customer side and an Ethernet port on the network side". What the manual says?
In one case we use IP-muxes - I think, something like this - bandwidth (rate) on the edges of IP network must be set to "forced" not "adaptive".
H'mmm I thought that the HL950 did not compress any of the voice channels for inter-lim signals ???
I was told that the bandwidth needed on an IP network was approximately double the equivalent 64k bandwidth. ie. If you have 9 channels then the total bandwidth needed on the IP network would be just over 1MB.
