Remote Lights out board. 1

Hi,

We have a ML370 Compaq server, which runs very well. Is there a "back-door" to get into the Remote Lights Out board. Since no one knows the username and password (only the IP address) we are unable to utilize any of the RIB functionality.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Go onto the Compaq web site and look for the Windows utility which allows you to configure the RIB card.

There is no backdoor, if you mean remotely.
The only way youre going to get inside the RILOE is to go the physical server, go to the F8 menu and then users add and create a new username and password, enable all the options.
Then use this new account to access the RILOE.
