Hello all,

Wondering if there is a solution to this. I have a few remote J179's and an ASBCE. I noticed when I had to reboot my IPO they went offline. When I got home to check my home phone, it was like it was froze on the main screen. No errors, no buttons showing up. My boss's Remote J179 experienced the same issue.

We did a reboot of the J179's and all is well - I could just see this possibly being an issue for a client and them needing to manually reboot the phone.

Thoughts.

My thought is that you can say to them "did you trying turning it off and back on again?".
It fixes 99% of issues.
I'm sure there is an underlying cause...but really...just tell them to unplug their phone and plug it back in if it is acting wonky.

AACon: That could work. I do not currently have any in production, as we are in the testing process. Curious what the cause could be. Trying to work out the bugs we are finding during testing before selling as a solution.

Don't worry, all the bugs will appear as soon as the CEO goes to use his/her phone on the day of an important conference call :)
