Anyone have issues with Remote H323 phones being able to make one call then lose audio until phone is rebooted? It seems to be a NAT issue through broadband provider but can't say for sure. Here are the details:
Example 1
Provider - Bright House Networks, dynamic IP, provider router with NAT and DHCP enabled. Connect phone directly to router, sometimes phone will boot properly. First call completes but subsequent calls have no audio. In other cases, phone appears to boot, can log in extension but stops at PHONE in upper left corner of display and will not go any further. Phone also shows as 4624 in SSA. Phone is actually 9611.
Example 2
Provider - Bright House Networks, provider broad band modem with single dynamic public IP connected to CPE router. Connected phone directly to modem, phone gets public IP and phone logs in normally and all calls completed with audio.
Additional details: In first example, we switched the router to bridged mode and connected phone directly to router and phone works properly and shows as 9611.
Any information on what we need to tell the carrier to change on their equipment would be greatly appreciated.
