I have been given the task of creating the "perfect server" on one of our new Dell blades then using remote install to capture the image and deploy it to the other 4 blades. I have a couple questions though. What about drive remapping? One document I read said not to do that until after the imaging process, but all previous reading says that must be done before Metaframe is installed. There was also some mention about changing the SID?
I am also planning to put this server into production before creating the image, to make sure there are no "bugs".
The server I am building is not the first server in the farm. We have several others already, just none on the blades.
