Hi all,
Just wanted to ask what if anything you might have set up for handling 911 calls from users who are located remotely and have no trunk facilities..? I have 2 locations that if they were to dial 911, the address is going to display the address for the OS4000...

Thanks!

In my situation each remote facility HAS trunks, but the way I handle my 911 calls is that they ALL route to the main site, which has an enhanced 911 system that will provide specific location of the phone. If that fails the 911 call will go out the trunks local to that site so they will at least get the correct address of the building. If I have remote locations in a different city that is not supplied by the same dispatch center I have 911 blocked on the phones and they are required to have at least 1 local phone line on site for that purpose, or they are instructed to use cell phones and give the precise location to the dispatcher.

In your situation you would probably need to make sure each site has at least one outside line, or just have the staff use cell phones. There are other options like the LIN settings in the phones, but that is outside of what I know.
