Remote H323 phone

I have a remote H.323 extension. It is a 9611 model. At my office I have a IP500 V2 running on R8.1.65. The phone is working great, except that every 5 minutes it re-registers to the IP Office. Anyone have any suggestions where the problem may be? I am going crazy trying to figure this out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There have been LOTS of problems with the recent 8.1 releases. Probably has something to do with natting on your firewall. I'm surprised you have it working for 5 minutes. Those remote extensions are a pain.

What kind of VPN firewall are you using? Might have a timeout that re-establishes the VPN tunnel at predetermined intervals (forcing the phone to recreate the connection), and that might be something you can change.
