Hi,

It is possible to make a remote ftp connection via GPRS connection? For example:

1. I connect to gprs:
at+cgdcont=1,"IP",""
atd*98*1#
-> CONNECT

How can I open a ftp connection at this moment?

Any suggestion is welcomed,

I've never done this myself, but if the connection looks like a standard TCP/IP connection to Windows and Procomm, it should work. Are you running into any specific errors or problems?

Hi knob,

Actually I don't know what command to use to open a ftp connection from a procomm script. What I need is to start a GPRS connection and then get a file from a specific ftp server (remote).
I guess it doesn't matter if I use a gprs or a lan connection as long the connection is the default route to internet.
It wolud be cool if you can provide me some infos about the commands used in ftp connection.

Thanks for your support.

Are you looking to run a script in Procomm to perform the transfer, or just do the transfer manually? For the latter, you would need to switch Procomm to FTP mode (I presume you're in data mode when making this connection) via the Window | Change Window | FTP menu item. If a script like it sounds, there are a couple FTP scripts on the samples page of my site (link below).
