REMOTE.EXE ERRORS 1

Hello all,
I am having erratic problems with console pcs @ my helpdesk.( SMS 2.0 SP3) Users will be dialed in & working remotely & then they will get an error message( see below) & get kicked out of remote control. So far, there is no consistancy to what machines are getting the problem. The machines they are trying to remote control are all identical images. ( about 650 machines)

I am having the same Guard Page Exception error on Windows 2000 workstations. I am using SMS 2.0 SP3. All the machines are on a WAN. The Windows 2000 machines in house are okay.
Have you found an answer to this problem?

I have found the answer/ workaround to this problem. Apparently its due to a video acceleration problem. I have gone in to the console & under Remote Control Client Agent advanced properties, changed the default compression to LOW from Auto. No change in remote ability as long as good WAN connection & havent had the error since. One thing, just by changing the settings on the Console, this didnt change the client settings. We had to manually do a repair of remote control on the client for them to accept the new settings.
