We are running a network with 3 NT Servers, many users and numerous PC's.

When printing to one printer (HP Laserjet 4V with a HP JetDirect card internallly) the print queue can get clogged with remote download documents. This usually is when the printer is at it's busiest and one or more of these documents needs to be deleted from the queue to get them going again.

We are using Microsoft TCP/IP printing.
Cheers
Ok so I guess the problem IS?? how to handle that.
You might set up Users in groups and give them Print permissions according to Priority.
This may help even out the work flow.
Say a the busiest time Only certain user (jobs) can print and others Can (may) wait until it's less busy.

Extra RAM installed in the Printer may Help
Also look at the size of the Spooler and where is is being saved.
