Remote Display monitoring.

Hi,
I am doing work for a company that has recently installed a LAN. They wish to be able to monitor the activities at each workstation. Ideally something like VNC or other remote control software would be perferct. However, VNC puts an icon in the tray and allows the user to exit the application. Something that runs transparently in the background would be perfect. Then a client machine could connect and monitor activities. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

The first that comes to mind is Sentinel (Rainbow Technologies, Inc.) .

and use the email address listed on the last page. Yes, among the less savory features, the scheduled release of the software will allow administrators to remotely view the users' desktops and read what has been typed.

Note that this is in no way an attempt to use this forum to sell a commercial product. The product doesn't exist yet. I simply believe that this is the most accurate response to your question and the most practical way to solve your problem. To be fair, here is a list of the products I feel I am competing against. Perhaps you will find a cost-effective package that suits your needs.
