I would like to access my computer via remote desktop, but when I do so it doesn't let me see the programs that are running on the computer. What i mean is is there a way to view exactly what you see on the host pc's monitor on the clients pc'c monitor. Thanks.

yes but not by remote desktop (as far as I know)
Try a neat little program called VNC you can get it from tucows, and its free!.
