Hi,
Been banging my head but can't seem to come up with a solution:
I've set a workstation on the internal network (LAN) to accept RD requests from the internet. I also mapped a port to the IP address of the workstation and the connection works fine. Because the internet client has a static IP address I tied the firewall rule to his specific IP address for access to the workstation via RD.
Doing exactly the same to a terminal server through Remote Desktop doesn't want to work from the internet. I mapped a port to it's IP exactly the same way I did with the workstation but alas nothing. I am able to remote desktop from within the LAN so I know that terminal services are running/working.
Anyone some ideas please
Thx
