Ok I will try to make this easy to understand. I have a computer in Florida that needs to connect to a network via a cisco vpn. Im working in Chicago and need to control the pc in Florida.(remote desktop). Heres what happens. Im in Chicago and connect to the workstation in Florida using a vpn and vnc software.(works fine)BUT once connected, When I try to connect the computer in Florida to a vpn I lose connection.

How Can I make this happen? Second Network Card?

What I am trying to accomplish. I work for a company in Florida doing software support from home. I VPN into the companies server to work. Easy Enough. Now I took a Job in Chicago (Contract 6 Months) and want to keep the job in Florida (Due to economical reasons). I need to create the illusion I am still working from Florida. Hence the scenario above. Another words I cannot log into the florida company with an IP coming out of Chicago.

How about running a machine in VMWARE? You actually VNC to the host machine and then run the vmware image that connects to the vpn.

Put the server in to Terminal Service Admin mode and use RDP.

The laptop logging in from chicago is a windows vista laptop and the workstation in florida is actually windows xp.

I will try the vmware, never used it before but I will definitly look at it tonight
