Trying to connect to Desktop from Laptop. Internet Dial up to Internet Wireless
Both running XP Pro Sp2
ADDRESS
I am getting through to the Desktop as I receive the Windows RDWC screen.
When I click connect I receive "The Client could not connect .............. Etc
When I enter IP Address I receive the same message.
When I enter Computer name I receive " The specified remote computer could not be found.
My Wireless supplier has given me the above Address. He specifiec that a seperate port 5900 was important. This port referes to
RealVnc. I have tested RealVnc and it works ok.
I have tried both 8649 and 5900 in my IIS settings but get the same result.
The firewall is set to allow both ports have access.
Any Ideas ????
