Hello,
I need to remote desktop to a computer that is behind a router that assigns the computers private IP's 192.16.... .

So I figure I just need to "forward" from the router to the proper port or set up a DMZ or something. Can anyone give me an idea of which port I need to use? Or if I'm on the wrong track, point me in the right direction? Thanks,

RDP runs on port 3389 open and forward that port to the internal IP.

or without further complication both you and the remote user install MSN and you have remote desktop right there....even prettier both of you can swap control just by clicking 'take control' and for whatever purpose, i think is even better than just remote desktop!!!
