I've got a problem with one of my Windows Server 2003 machines... when i log into the server using Remote Desktop, the time on the server resets to the time when i last logged out of Remote Desktop.

For example, this morning i logged into it and the time on the server showed as 9:30pm and the date was 31st July, instead of 9:00am on 3rd August.

Has anyone seen anything like this before and can advise how to fix it?

Regards
James Wilson

Have you logged in to the console to check the time there?

I have now reset the server time in the BIOS, and this appears to have fixed the problem! I'm not sure what caused it in the first place as this server has been in place for a couple of years now without this problem! I guess it could be an issue with the CMOS battery which i'll keep an eye on.

Thanks for all help!
