I have sharepoint setup for external usage.

What I'd like to do is use the Remote Desktop Web client to remote desktop through a sharepoint page EXTERNALLY to computers in my domain.

Currently, when I use the particular sharepoint page internally the remote desktop web client page works fine. But externally it will pull up "Action was cancelled".

I have the remote desktop client running off of 10.0.0.90. So inside sharepoint I have a web pager viewer webpart pointing to 10.0.0.90... Works perfect inside, authenticates through the server running the portal site to other computers no problem.

Just how do I make it work through the internet? I have port 3386 or whatever poked open through the firewall although I don't think it would have helped any either way.

I think you would have to come into your network through a VPN unless you have a public IP somewhere NAT'd to 10.0.0.90.
