Remote Desktop stopped working

Hi,
I setup a LAN based remote desktop. There was a power failure and ever since then the client computer will not connect to the Host. It provides a lengthy message that suggests a network issue.
I can do the reverse, connect the Host to the Client by reversing the roles.
I can connect the Client to the Host through telnet.
Any suggestions?

I would try setting up another account on the system you used to use Remote Desktop on an see if that works.

Also you could run msconfig from the run dialog, and tell it "normal startup" this should enable all of the default services again, so when you reboot your PC it should work.
