Hi,
I have some Remote desktop hosts behind a firewall in my office. I connect to them from the field with my laptop. Sometimes when I go to a client’s office I am unable to connect to my hosts because the client has their firewall closed off to everything except HTTP-(port80?). So, my question: Can I change RD to go through port 80 so that I can access it from anywhere that internet explorer works? What about using a VPN or SSH? Would either of those alllow me to get to my hosts from behind a firewall cloed to everything except internet explorer connections?
I looked at RD web connection, but the Microsoft site says 3389 would still have to be open on both clinet and host ends, just like with terminal serices RD.
