Clients XP - Server 2003 Enterprise.

I am able to remote desktop onto client's machines with their IP addresses and log on as the domain administrator on that machine.

However, when I try and log in as the user on the machine remotely, the following error message appears.

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to log on interactively"

The user is not logged into the machine localy prior to this.

Any ideas?

This is an ok solution but I would have to go around every machine in the company.

How would I set these permissions via the GPO?

Windows 2003 has the computer policy setting... im not sure it exists in 2000??

I'm using windows 2003. Where is the setting?

computer configuration >> admin templates >> windows components >> terminal services >> allow users to connect remotely using terminal services

also check this key:

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Services\fDenyTSConnections

The value should be set to 0

I have changed this in the GPO and checked in AD that the user has permissions to allow TS. It's still coming up with the same error though?
