Hi Ive got a DNS issue here and im fairly inexperienced with server 2008, My first installation was a domain controller/remote desktop services setup which worked however i reformatted and created a hyperv domain controller and now the remote desktop gateway address (server.mydomain.com) isnt reachable just the mydomain.com which has the incomplete FQDN for the ssl certificate i purchased.

There is already an entry in the forward lookup zone for the server name which forms the FQDN (server.mydomain.com) however when i point remote desktop to this address remote desktop client cant connnect mydomain.com works and points to the server not the domain controller which is correct.

Can anyone suggest how to create the FQDN server.mydomain.com and point it to the server ip 192.168.0.1 ?

For reference ive added my network map.
