Remote Desktop for Red Hat 7.2

I am running Redhat 7.2. I want to be able to run a java
app or something on my windows box so I can control the exact desktop of my redhat machine. If you have any ideas please help.

I'm currently running redhat 7.2 along with a SiS 630 VGA card on a laptop. None of the monitor presets is compatible with my laptop. I would appreciate some help in customizing the horizontal and vertical sync rate manually. Thank you
