I am trying to connect 2 computers via remote desktop connection. 1st computer XP/Home edition trying to connect to 2nd computer 98/se. When trying to go from xp to 98 the error reads -The client could not connect to remote computer. When trying 98 to xp I get a timed out error message. XP is connected to modem and Linksys router and 98 is connected to same router via wireless. Please help

Neither XP Home nor win98 can be a Remote Desktop server. You may have installed the client software, but unfortunately, it will never work with what you have.
