I have a user computer that has a motherboard with two onboard nics on it. I could not get it to connect with remote desktop connection by IP or computer name until I disabled one of the onboard nics, even if the other onboard nic is not being used. It would keep locking up the computer that I was trying to connect to. I disabled the second onboard nic and now it will connect with remote desktop connection. But now when the user logs off of the remote desktop connection and comes back to her office and tries to log into the desktop it locks her computer up and just goes to a black screen. She reboots the computer and is able to log in with no problems. I can't seem to find a solution for this. Has anybody ever had this problem before? The computer is a Dell Precision with a high end motherboard and cpu.
