A workstation W2K using Remote Desktop Connection to SBS 2003 applies "user" settings displays desktop then "saves user settings" and logs off. Has worked perfectly for years.

Log in on as this "user" at the server does the same thing.
Log in from workstation as a different user successful.
Event logs don't seem to show anything.

Old Posts (2004 vintage) suggest a problem with NVidia drivers might be the culprit but our server is 2009 Vintage.

I am competant and can manage the server to a point but I'm not a tech.

Any help Apreciated.

I would log in as a different admin user and delete/rename the problem user's profile folder from "Documents and Settings". Then log in as that user again. I'm guessing that it is a profile corruption problem and this procedure would fix it.
