remote database via pda

Hi,
I am attempting to setup a system where an on site engineer with a pda records a service, then uploads it straight to the main web database.

I am using an 02 XDA2 running windows, which has a sim card.
a GPRS upload would be ideal - does anyone have an exapmle of this? or could point me in the right direction?
