Remote database connection

Hi everyone,

We have a database in a remote location. We already installed leased line and we can access the PC remotely but the problem is that I cannot connect to the database when i tried to make ODBC profile from my office to the database in the remote location. Can anybody assists me in how to connect a remote database. I am using a Sybase database

Can you paste the ODBC error message you are getting while connecting to the Sybase database?
I'm assuming you created the ODBC profile from PB.

Can you create the same ODBC profile from Control Panel ODBC, System DSN and test if it connects?
Which ODBC driver are you using??
Another question is if you have a Sybase DB why are you using an ODBC driver to connect to it, instead of the Powersoft native interface??
