How do we use remote copy from one unix box to another?
 
You could do it quite a number of ways...

rcp
rdist
ftp
sftp
scp
and etc etc etc

I would personally suggest sftp and/or scp as these are more secure than the rest of the options, as all the traffic is encrypted, and can be automated using public/private keypairs instead of passwords...

for more info on scp and sftp, go to and grab the sourcecode and compile it...

If you are running Solaris, you can also get precompiled packages at
