Remote Control won't adjust to 16colors

I'm running SMS 2.0 SP3 on all server and clients. Client machines are Dell Optiplex GX150 with the intel 82815 graphic controler. Even though I adjust the settings to only show 16 colors I'm the change does not take affect.

Have you updated the client agent settings?

The easiest way to do this is to log on to the client, open Control Panel, open Systems Management, go to the last tab and highlight Remote Control and click Update Configuration.

This will cause the client to contact the CAP and check the client settings and update the Remote Control.

Actually, you are about the 3rd person I've heard having trouble with that specific configuration. Check Dell's support site for any updated drivers. I know there has been lots of discussion about the Dell video subsystem. One large company that I'm aware of is considering sending all of their Dells back and requesting Dell to fix them. Rod Trent
