SMS 2.0 SP3 Site

For some reason the last few days, the Remote Control icon has been showing up on some of our user's Windows 98 machines, even though no one was remote controlling them. A reboot causes the icon to go away, but my Help Desk tells me that they are no longer able to Remote Control these machines. No settings have been changed at the site server, and as far as I know, nothing new has been deployed to the machines. We have been running SMS 2.0 for 3 years and have never seen anything like this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Might want to try looking at the status message query "Remote Tools Activity Targeted at a Specific System". Insertion string value is the targed computer name.

The remote control icon doesn't show up until the session begins, so somehow I'd think a session was started.
