remote console in win2000

I have the problem that the remote console can't see the server on my win2000 machine. but on other clients it works fine.
anyone has any idea?

Are you using RConsoleJ?

Can your workstation ping your server by name?

If you're trying to use RCONSOLE on w2k, forget it. It will make your W2K system run slower than it already does.
