Remote Connection to Windows CE Devices

I have alot of Windows CE devices on my network and I'll like to remotely administer them. What is the easiest and cheapest way to accomplish this? I have been reading on Terminal services but I dont think this is a suitable approach. I downloaded ActiveSync. I guess this will be used to transfer info from a pc to the ce device. I use a remote connectivity product for my workstations but it doesnt work with CE. Is there a similar product available?
