I have L2TPSec VPN connection to SBS Server 2003. This is setup on a third party hardware security device. I have also setup remote desktop to enable me to log in to the server remotely.
Can other user use the same type of connection logging in remotely using remote desktop or should I set some other type of connection?

Considering I already have the secure VPN connection and the other user would like to access both files and email what would be the best way to setup the server?

Can anybody help?

Thanks

You can't have users using RDP to connect to the server. RDP on the SBS box is for administrative tasks only.

The alternatives are Remote Web Workplace (RWW), which lets users connect to XP workstations via the server, or installing another server with Terminal Services on it. That will require a TS license for each user that's going to use it, as well as a user license for each user for each application installed on the server.

I hope this makes sense.
