This is really a newbie question that one of my managers asked me to find and answer to. We are moving towards a citrix based environment and he wants to know how this will work with laptops. Certain people within the company will be allowed to keep things on their pc (IS/VPs,etc) and he wants to know how that ends up working out ro how it will sync up if possible. I am very new to citrix (um heard about us moving towards it today) and have no clue how this would work out. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you

In my company, we don't use citrix at all on our laptops for several reasons. I'd recommend installing all programs, especially outlook, locally on all laptops.
We used to use the citrix web client on the laptops, which allowed them to log in to their apps from anywhere on the internet, but speed and other issues made us decide to just go local.

I'd be interested to hear how other people have dealt with this problem!
