I have a customer that has a CS1000E and a CallPilot 1005r HA system installed in one state. They are asking for a SMG to be installed in another state with it's own CallPilot 202i. I'm ok with configuring the SMG but need to verify that I can have a CP 202i in another state. How will my ELAN connection be affected?

This configuration may not be possible.
Remember, you can only have 1 CallPilot per customer on a given system, and in normal operation, the IP phones on the SMG are registered to the Main system.
The 1005 is a beefy system. I currently use a single 1005 providing voicemail services to 7 CS1000 systems located throughout the US (Literally from coast to coast, and locations in between) with no problems.
